We are living in a time when wickedness has become a sort of style or fashion of the day. If we notice the news and keep track of the things happening all around us then we know that with each day wickedness is not only increasing but getting popular and accepted. Anticipation

A few days ago, I was waiting at the airport baggage claim to collect by luggage. As I was standing there, the carousel started and baggage’s started coming. I was anxiously waiting for mine to come. It did not come for some time and few thoughts passed through my mind. Will it come? Did the airline mishandle it? Is it lost? What will I do if it does not come? Will I have to buy some clothes and survive?
I had a baggage claim ticket with me but still, I had to wait. Finally, it came and I took it. Once I got it, I moved on and did not think about anything. All my doubt was gone and I was just going ahead.
Wait a minute - does it sound similar to what is happening with our waiting for Jesus Christ?  Yes, he is coming and we wait for him. Sometimes doubt creeps into our minds. Will it happen or it was a myth? Am I going to see it or not?

Parable:- Two Builders, Wise and Foolish

Scripture Portion:- Matthew 7:24-27; Luke 6:47-49
Observations:- The parable follows what Jesus told about last judgement when many will come say about what they did and Jesus will not accept or acknowledge them. They did miracles and wonders. They drive out demons and prophesied in Jesus name. Jesus says that those who hear the words and put them into practice is like a wise builder who built his house upon the rock. When wind and storms came against it, it stood still. Those who hear and not practice are like a man who build his house upon sand. He is called a foolish man. When wind and storms came, this house fell with a great crash.
Practical Lessons:- I need to make sure that I am building my house on the rock on a daily basis. Anyone who hears the teachings of Jesus and follows them is wise. Solid foundation will mean obedience on daily basis. Anyone who hears and ignore is foolish. So following the teachings of Jesus is key to have a solid …
