I am sure that these reports are not the only reports. But this will help us all to understand the situation prevailing in India now.

One thing is sure-Persecution has increased and people are facing more problems now.

But persecution against God’s children did not start yesterday. 1st century church had to go through lot of problems. But in mist of it they saw the glory of God. If we read Acts of Apostles then we see that its a story of church growing in mist of persecution. When persecution started in Jerusalem and people were scattered- we see the church starting in many new places like Antioch.

I would like to put here what Gamaliel said in Acts 5:34-39-

But a Pharisee named Gamaliel,a teacher of the Law, respected by all the people, stood up in the Council and gave orders to put the men outside for a short time. And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you propose to do with these men.”For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a group of about four hundred men joined up with him. But he was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing.”After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census and drew away some people after him; he too perished, and all those who followed him were scattered.”So in the present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown;but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

I want to again repeat the last part:-
“I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown;but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

Only time will prove what is truth. For more than 2000 years it stood still. Many kings and rulers rose to wipe out Christianity and Bible from the world. But it has only grown.

All these reports may bring sorrow to us because the people who are doing all this “do not realize what they are doing”.
Lets pray for all the people who are burning down and killing innocent people. May God have mercy on them and open their hearts to see the truth in the way they ought to see.

May God Bless all the people who are involved in persecution!

A Ministry Giant with a Painful Home

When we think of John Wesley, we often remember him as the founder of Methodism, the fiery preacher on horseback, and the man God used to bring revival across England. Yet behind the powerful ministry was a personal life marked by deep struggle—particularly in his marriage to Mary “Molly” Vazeille Wesley . A Difficult Union Wesley married Molly, a wealthy widow, in 1751. Their marriage, however, quickly became strained. Wesley’s relentless ministry schedule—often gone for months traveling and preaching—left Molly feeling neglected and resentful. Mistrust grew as she accused him of improper attachments to female supporters, though no evidence of misconduct was ever proven. Their conflicts became public, damaging Wesley’s reputation at times. Eventually, Molly left him, returning only briefly before leaving permanently in 1771. Wesley wrote bluntly in his journal: “I did not forsake her, I did not dismiss her, I will not recall her.” Pain in the Parsonage Wesley once desc...

Role of Miracles in Church Growth

In the modern church, there is often debate about the place of miracles. Are they still needed? Do they have a role in evangelism or church growth today? To answer that, we must look back at the early church — specifically, the book of Acts — and ask: What role did miracles play in the growth of the church then? The book of Acts is more than a history of the first-century believers; it’s a blueprint for mission, a testimony of the Holy Spirit’s power, and a record of how a small group of people turned the world upside down — in part, through miraculous signs and wonders . Let’s explore the key roles miracles played in the expansion of the early church and what we can learn from them today. 🔹 1. Miracles Validated the Gospel Message In a time when many claimed religious authority, miracles served as a divine signature, authenticating the message of Jesus Christ . “Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.” – Acts 2:43 Signs and wond...

What’s in a Title? Reflections on 'Reverend' and the Use of Titles in Ministry

Introduction: A Name, A Title, and a Tension In certain Christian circles, few things stir more debate than the use of titles—especially religious ones—before someone’s name. The title Reverend often becomes the center of this debate. Interestingly, although I personally do not use Reverend in my own introductions or communications, I often find it added to my name when others design flyers or introduce me at meetings. When I’ve had the choice, I’ve preferred simpler, context-appropriate titles like Pastor or Dr. , depending on the occasion.  This isn’t merely a personal preference; it opens a broader discussion. Why does the use of titles trigger such strong responses? And what can Scripture, culture, and even language history teach us about this? The Meaning, Origin, and Use of the Title "Reverend" The word Reverend comes from the Latin word "reverendus" , which means "worthy of reverence" or "to be revered." It is a passive form of the L...
